Nha Trang

The next couple of days we kicked around Nha Trang, snooping in shops, eating, having Vietnamese coffee, and beer, and occasionally heading to the beach.  On our way home one evening we spotted a guy having a beer at a sidewalk cafe.  He drew our attention because he was wearing a Vietnam Harley Davidson t-shirt.  We got to talking and discovered he is Canadian and living in Vietnam.  He invited us to sit down and have a beer.  His task for the next couple of weeks was helping a couple of Canadian gals, who are acquaintances, navigate Vietnam.  After a couple of beers, we all went for supper and exchanged travel stories and life histories.  At the end of the evening we said our goodbyes and headed for home.  A very fun evening was had by all!

A neat little bar and restaurant owned by a Dutch fellow,
                                          married to a Vietnamese gal.

The Backpacker Hostel.  A funky place for young
                                          people to hang their hats.
