Townsville, Queensland

With a population of about 200,000 Townsville is an interesting and bustling city.  It has a lot to offer, with its museums, huge aquarium, world class diving, two major sporting teams, vibrant nightlife, and an endless esplanade.  It has a wonderful waterfront, called The Strand, that stretches for about 2km.  It is interspersed with parks, pools, playgrounds, cafes, and lots of palm trees for shade.  Its swimming areas are protected with by two large stinger enclosures.  It also has a wonderful Harley Davidson shop that will fill your every riding desire!

Meet Jim and Tania.  We met them at Airlie Beach, and they are from Flin Flon!!  They are great people and we have enjoyed their company tremendously!!
