Tonight, we went with Brian and Nok into Pattaya, just off Walking Street for dinner, to a very nice ocean front restaurant. We were joined by a friend of Brian's from Kelowna. We were also introduced to another couple, a friend of Nok's, and her Swedish boyfriend, who spent the rest of the evening with us. After dinner, Nok took us to a Thai nightclub on Walking Street. The band was very good. They played Thai rock and roll, and put on quite a show with dancers, and numerous band members. Not once did they take a break, they played continuously, with small comedic intervals from time to time. The music was loud, and difficult to visit. It was like being at a rock concert where you can feel the beat of the music in your chest!! If dancing was was your thing, you got up from your chair and danced beside your table, no companion needed, or you danced with whoever else was dancing!!
It was a fun evening, doing it Thai style!!
