Fremantle, Western Australia
The six of us...Catlin, Jess, Norm, Marie, Hoss, and myself spent one afternoon in the interesting city of Fremantle. Just 30 minutes from Perth's city centre, the bustling, dynamic port city of Fremantle has long been renowned for its eclectic mix or arty and alternative types. The streets buzz with the song of buskers, the sidewalks with a wild collection of art, and music floats out from trendy cafes and bars. There are many funky shops to snoop through, including a market that will fit the bill for anything your heart's desire. Fremantle is very easy to explore by foot or bicycle. This form of travel gives you the freedom to stop and shop, find a place to get a bite to eat, or order a drink. Walking slows you down enough so you can relax and enjoy all the sites, sounds, and smells of this vibrant, intoxicating city!
