Cervantes, Western Australia

Our first stop on our road trip was at a small community called Cervantes which is located 200km north of Perth.  Cervantes boasts beautiful beaches for fishing, swimming, and tasting fresh seafood, and between July and October over 6000 species of wild flowers bloom in the nearby national parks of Lesueur and Nambung.  You can visit a cave, or sandboard white sand dunes, and there is also a variety of water activities.   Otherwise, this little town was pretty sleepy!

Our campground was comfortable and enjoyable!
 A footpath to the beach.
 Families fishing

This large gull downed a huge fish, and was still able to fly!
 Another beautiful sunset!
