Guayaquil, Ecuador

Our last stop in Ecuador was the large city of Guayaquil. The area our hostal was in was quite modern. We were located in a quiet residential area, and only a couple of blocks from a main drag, that was home to a large mall, bars, eateries, shops.  Our stay was only one night, because we flew out early the next morning to Cuzco, Peru.

                                         We got to Guayaquil by bus.  The bus terminal in Guayaqil
                                          looks like an airport.  We were flabbergasted!!

                                            Our accommodations, nice but a party atmosphere.
                                            We barely slept a wink, and had to get up at 4 AM
                                            to catch a flight.  The young people were still drinking
                                            beer in the courtyard by the pool.
