Cuzco, Peru

Our flight was uneventful, two legs, with a plane change in Lima.  We arrived in Cuzso later that morning, hopped on a bus, and quickly made our way to the San Blas area where our hostal is located.  We checked in with Eduardo, a young man, who was friendly, and extremely helpful with all sorts of useful information.  Our room had a heater, and three heavy blankets.  We settled in, freshened up, and then hit the streets to plan the next week´s activities.  We bought a tourist ticket which allows you in to many museums, art galleries, and cultural dance events, within the city of Cuzco, and to all the ruins within the the Sacred Valley.  We lined up train tickets and passes to get us to and into Machu Picchu.

Our hostal is called Pisko & Soul.  It provides a breakfast every morning.
