Wellington Architecture

There are many beautiful buildings in Wellington.  We are in a heritage area where you need permission to even throw a coat of paint on your home or business. A 6.7 earthquake rocked Wellington about a year ago, damaging a few building that needed to be taken down.

                                 This is the parliament building. It is nicknamed the beehive.
