Train Travel

Our time in Auckland has come to an end, and it is time for us to move along. Our next destination is Wellington, New Zealand located on the southern tip of the northern island., and our choice of travel is by train. We love to travel by train and find it comforting and relaxing. It is at a slower pace but you get to see much of the country's landscape.The train was uncrowded and therefore we had a lot of leg room and elbow space.Our two seats became four! We sat chattering with neighbouring train-mates, read, napped, ate our bagged lunch, and enjoyed a glass of wine in the dining car, and before we knew it Wellington became our next stop and our view was the Tasman Sea.
