The Pest Side of Budapest

Pest, is prounced Pesht, and is located on the flat side Budapest. Buda and Pest are connected with the 19th-century Chain Bridge.

Budapest is famous for its thermal baths. Szechenyi Baths is located in the beautiful City Park. Visitors can swim indoors and outdoors while admiring the historical mosaics, and grandiose entrance hall. The complex also includes saunas and steam. There also is the Dagaly Baths which has ten pools of varying styles and temperatures.

Another attraction of Budapest are the ruin bars, that are abandoned spaces turned into bars by locals using second hand furniture and lots of creativity.

Other interests to travelers would be the Central Market Hall, the Jewish Synagogue,  Vajdahunyad Castle, and The House of Terror which is a museum that is all about Hungrary's 20th-century fascist and communist dictartorial regimes, which also includes a memorial to their victims. There are also operas to attend, and if you are a foodie, there are countless eateries to experience.

Hungary is also very economical, which is a huge plus in my eyes! I definitly would revisit this fasinating city!

I was intrigued with this statue of Anonomous. I feel like Anonomous...I'm not daring enough to publish written words for all to read and critic. It's easier to hide behind Anonomous.

                                         Such a beautiful building
