Our boat went through 16 canals cruising up the Danube River. We passed through the majority of them at night when we were sleeping. But, one of the locks, we went through was during the day. The water had to rise 50 meters in the canal!
We've been through the Panama Canal so we knew what to expect. But, this was a bit different with the boats loading side-by-side. It's always interesting.
