Yesterday, we took a beautiful drive up to a quiet lake that was nestled in the hilly jungle north of Coronado.
The vegetation was thick and lush. We walked around the lake and got a chance to see many species of butterflies. The dragonflies were fuchsia in colour, and the lake was full of a variety of fish. We attempted to take another hike up a steep, narrow, winding, trail that leads to the top of the hill where there is a spectacular view. But, because of its difficulty and improper footwear we abandoned the idea after managing a few of its twists and turns. And alas, I have no pictures to download because I forgot to take my camera!!!
