David (pronounced Da-bid) is a city of about 125 000 people. It is not a tourist town by any means. Restaurants and bars you feel comfortable going in are few. But man, are the prices right. We found a very nice, but small hotel called Hotel Castilla. It was incredibly clean!! The restaurant served great coffee and delicious meals. There was not a lot to do in the evenings, so we would head back to our room and watch an English channel on the TV.
