Claude and Lynne picked us up in their car, and we headed to the water taxi at Playa Linda that ferries you over to Ixtapa Island, then headed to Varadero Beach. We spent the day with friends and acquaintances. The water at Varadero is pristine and calm, and the setting is absolutely breath-taking. We had a lovely day of it all!
Paraiso Escondido is the restaurant we sat at. We know the owner, Juan.
I spoke to the couple who own the sailboat on the far right. They have been sailing for decades and the boat is their home. They sail the western coastline of North America. Quite a different lifestyle.
