Having a small studio suite has enabled us to do a bit of entertaining, so we decided to cook a basic meal and invite some friends over. We have always hosted successful parties large and small, but this one was a bit of a bust! On the day of our chili supper we had a hot, humid day with absolutely no breeze, so the terrace outside of our suite was fairly uncomfortable! We eventually made our way indoors to the sanctuary of AC, waiting for the meal to be done, and eventually made our way back outside after the sun dropped a bit. We ate our meal, enjoyed dessert, and everyone went home. That was the shortest party we have ever hosted. Our kids' birthday parties lasted longer!
