Views From Our Room

We stayed at a very basic hotel called the Sweet Memories Hotel, that included a breakfast called nasi lemak, which is a fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf, and is usually served with sambai(a chili paste), crispy anchovies, toasted peanuts, sliced cucumbers, and sometimes an egg either boiled or fried.  It is considered a national dish and can be found all throughout Malaysia.
