Koh Larn

Koh Larn is an island just off the coast of Thailand, a 40 minute ferry ride from Pattaya.  The island was quaint, and had more to it than I thought!  We had a very enjoyable day!!

 After walking around for a bit we decided to rent scooters so that we could explore the whole island.

 The army is now running the country due to a bit of unrest.  The military now makes the beach vendors that rent chairs and umbrellas take one day a week off.  Not all beaches are closed on the same day.  I am not sure how the Thais feel about this but I think it is unfair to the renters to cut back on wages especially during high season!

 Two maps. One is running north and south, the other east and west, and no compass rose on the first one.  I believe the first one is more accurate.
