Soaring to a height of 451.9 metres, the 88-storey twin structure is Kuala Lumpur's crown jewel. They were once considered the tallest buildings buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004( I will confirm this fact with son Addison), it now remains the tallest twin towers in the world. Inspired by Tun Mahathir Mohamad's vision for Malaysia to be a global player, and together with master architect, Cesar Pelli, the international icon captures Malaysia's ambitions and aspirations. The towers are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower. They are stunning and majestic by day, and dazzling by night!
The one hour or so tour we took started with an interactive display that showcases the journey, from idea to completion. We took and elevator to the 41st and 42nd that opened up at the skybridge, a connecting structure between the towers. We then ascended to the 88th floor, and had breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur. The tower was pricey but well worth it!!
A hologram gave us information before loading on the elevator.
