Our Hop On Hop Off bus tour continued the next day with an excursion to the world famous Bondi Beach. It might be famous, but I never heard of it before until we bought the Lonely Planet travel book for Australia and started researching the country. The drive there was gorgeous! The streets were ladened with trees, small shops, and eateries.
The beach was spectacular, large, with fine white sand, and bay shaped. The some surfing was being done, but people were mainly cooling off in the water. I found the ocean to be a bit cool for my liking!! There was a huge crowd beaching it, but because of Bondi's size, it was more than accommodating.
