Travel Day to Phuket

January 1, 2016 was a travel day for us.  We flew to Phuket Island, then taxied to the small city of Patong where we had a guesthouse booked called Yaya.  The room is basic with a king sized bed, decent sized bathroom, TV with a few English stations, a  hot breakfast every morning, super clean, and it is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, with lots of eateries, food stalls, motorbike rentals, and clothing stores all around. We loved the place immediately and booked another week's stay!
