Kalbarrie, Western Australia

Kalbarrie was one of our favourite places!  A small, tourist town of about 2 000 folks that sits in a landscape that mother nature has carving out for millions of years. There is rugged coastline,  800 species of wild flowers, secluded  beaches, whale watching spots, gorges, and a variety of  activities to keep you busy from dawn 'til dusk, with some fantastic star gazing at night.  Here, the Murchinson River meets the Indian Ocean creating stunning bays with protected swimming areas with soft white sand.  The people are friendly, and the atmosphere is laidback.  Kalbarrie is a beautiful spot for anyone looking for a beach type holiday!
