Old Penang Georgetown, Malaysia
Our next destination took us to another island in Malaysia, one that is densely populated, and where traffic has increased significantly since our previous visit two years ago. The island of Penang has 2.3 million with 1.7 million of that population living in Georgetown. We bunk in at Old Town Penang, an area of Georgetown that has a lot of history, and is a UNESCO Heritage Site which means to preserve sites of outstanding importance, either culturally or natural, to the common heritage of humankind. Our guesthouse's internet is also quite ancient!
