More Sights of the Island of Langkawi

 We made a special trip to see the black sand beach, and this is all they can come up with!!! Not even close to the black sand beaches of Panama!

                   Limestone rocks of Langkawi lie mostly on the northern part of the island.

The Malays that live in Langkawi have basic homes like the pictures below. But we have seen some very large homes, and also some tin shacks.

The beach street in Pantai Cenang is very busy in the evening with food hawkers, shops, people walking, and vehicles meandering their way through. We always have to snake our way through all this commotion with our moped! You cannot look away for an eighth of a second!
