Kata Beach, Phuket, Thailand

This is my favourite beach in the world ...so far. The sand is soft and powdery white. The Andaman Ocean gentle and warm, and very clear. It is very easy to spend a good portion of the day at the beach!

Kata Beach is housed in a large bay with a long, wide stretch of sand. This location we have decided to sit at is at the far north end of the beach.

 

  This barbeque restaurant is at the far south end of Kata beach, opposite of where we were beaching it with the loungers and umbrellas. We often stop here for a beer and spring rolls.
