Beach Time on Penang Island

With our scooter we managed the heavy traffic and made our way out of the city to one of the beaches. We spent a peaceful and relaxing afternoon in the shade of a tree and swimming in the ocean.

We saw this guy when we first arrived. At first, I thought it was a snake, but it was only an iguana swimming towards the boulders at one end of the beach. He clambered up one of the rocks and spent the rest of the afternoon sunning himself.

         This is the beautiful Hilltop condo residences that overlooks the beach we visited and the  Andaman Sea.
