We presently don't have wheels so walking is what we do to get around, snoop around, grocery shop, go to the beach, the restaurants...it's a goof thing Tamarindo is small!! I really don't mind walking, I actually love it, but this heat is a killer!! The other day we were in the sun for close to 3 hours just walking around, and I think I ended up with a bit of heat exhaustion.
We needed to cross this inlet to get to Palm Beach where the turtles nest. The last time we were here, when our boys were young, we were fortunate enough to see a big mama leatherback turtle dig a meter deep hole, lay her eggs, cover them up, and return to the ocean!
