Morelia, Michoacan

The city of Morelia is the capital of the central Mexican state of Michoacan. It's a colonial city with narrow streets and well preserved 17th and 18th century buildings built from the region's characteristic pink stone. One example is the baroque style Morelia Cathedral. It's imposing size and soaring towers dominate the main square of Plaza de Arms.

We walked the streets enjoying the warm afternoon and then slightly cooler evening taking in all the sites, and city vibe. We fell in love with Morelia's charm and warmth.
