Copper Town

 Our visit to Santa Clara del Cobre, another Magical Town, was definitely a high light, and was only a 30 minute car ride from Patzcuaro. It's noted for its copper which its people have been working with since the pre-hispanic, which led to the town's dominance in copper crafts over the colonial period until well into the 19th century. We started with the Copper Museum, and continued on down the street visiting many beautiful copper shops.
