Otago Peninsula

The Otago Peninsula, just a short drive north of Dunedin, is richly diverse with wildlife. We drove there to see sea lions, albatrosses, and penguins. We were sadly disappointed with the sighting of only sea lions and  trillions of seagulls!

                                          The vast South pacific Ocean!

                                             Otago Harbour

These small boats have been grandfathered. people can own them, sell them, but cannot build more of them.

We had lunch at this small cafe and was entertained by this nectar loving bird.

The Otago Peninsula coastline meets the South Pacific Ocean!

To all our golfing friends...Hoss finally scored himself an albatross!

Small homes line the Otago Peninsula drive.

The Otago Peninsula drive is beautiful, but windy and narrow.
