Cortez Waterfalls

With our rental car, we drove to a waterfall that lies south of the small city of Liberia.  The drive was pleasant until we turned off the highway, then we followed a rocky road that led us to a parking lot.  We checked out a trail that led to where a small river flowed to the top of a cliff creating the falls. We then walked back to the parking lot, and found the steep pathway to the bottom of the falls.  We had a pleasant afternoon enjoying the falls, cooling off in the pond, eating our lunch, and relaxing.
