Road Trip

My cousin and her husband, Debbie and Bob, happened to be on Phuket Island the same time as us. They just finished up a G-Adventure tour of Southeast Asia and booked an extra week in Nai Thon, Phuket to have some down time after their busy, hectic tour. We made arrangements to meet up for a visit. A 2-hour scooter ride got us there, with a couple of stops along the way...the first one at Surin Beach for a stretch and walk about, and a second stop for the coppers who were handing out fines to all tourists. We paid  a fine for not wearing a helmet and having no international license. I call it pay day, and another adventure! This is the first time we have been checked for international licenses!
