Hop On, Hop Off

Whenever coming to a new city, we usually tour the city using the "hop on, hop off" bus.  It's a quick way to get acquainted with the city and its layout. It's cheaper and quicker than taking cabs or buses to all the different destinations you want to explore.  Mexico City was no different.  The first bus made its rounds to many interesting areas, but the we made the mistake of getting on a second bus, the blue bus, that would take us to another area of the city including the famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo's home where she lived for most of her life, and the only reason we went on that bus so we could visit this now home/museum.  We got on the bus at rush hour!!  I have no idea why they call it rush hour!!  In Mexico City I would call it slow hour...snail hour...I want to pull my hair out hour!!  The traffic was horrific!  It came to a grinding halt.  I think we could have crawled on all fours faster!!  There was nothing of interest to see, except for the Frida Kahlo House/Museum which was closed by the time we got there!!  GRRRR!
