Alto Vista Chapel

Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel also known as Pilgrims Church, that stands on the hills above the north shore of the sea close to the small town of Noord.  It was rebuilt in 1952.  The original chapel was constructed in 1750 by the Venezuelan missionary, Domingo Silvestre.  The Alto Vista Chapel was stated to be the location where conversion of Aruban Indians to Christianity started.  The drive to the chapel is quite beautiful.
