We are only a short walk away from the Aegean Sea, and where all the action is in this small town. We are here in low season so the crowds are thin. Mykonos Town, or Hora as it is sometimes called, has traditional whitewashed Cycladic buildings set in a maze of narrow, cobbled-stone pathways that are pedestrian only. It's really quite lovely. There are a ton of restaurants, and many shops that can keep you busy for a few hours. Mykonos has a party-hard reputation, and many of the young women are dressed for the nightclub scene. I go home to my pyjamas.
These windmills were once used to grind wheat.
This area is called Little Venice.
We had a delicious veal supper at Traverna Niko's
A small theater...not sure if it is still used...but I hope so!
