The Bio-Aromatique Herbal Garden in the Ourika Valley

This garden was created by two specialist and passionate brothers in 1998. They decided to turn a potato field into a garden.  The rich soil of the Ourika Valley provide a variety of plants a healthy place to grow. The plants that are grown are for aromatic, medicinal, herbal, and ornamental purposes. The smells that drift through the air while walking through the serene and peaceful pathways of garden are glorious. After our tour we were served a delicious, hot lunch!

Look closely, there is a sleepy turtle lying in the soil.

I forgot to take picture of the tagines that were serve to us. They were delicious. Tagines are a type of stew cooked slowly in a clay pot, and served piping hot.
