On our way to Essaouira we passed a large preserve of argon trees that were loaded with goats. The goats love eating the argon nuts. Humans use the nuts to make beautiful oils and soap. This tree used to grow all throughout North Africa but now can only be found in Morocco. It's perfectly adapted to the region's harsh environment consisting of high temperatures, poor soil and drought.
