We are starting to pack up our belongings because our time in Zihua is coming to an end. I have to say I'm ready to leave. I feel homesick and I miss our family. We left Canada near the end of September and we will only be in Melville for two nights and then we fly to Morocco for about 3 weeks. I don't think we'll plan to be away for so long in the future!

Mardi Gras
We finally got to experience Zihua's Mardi Gras! It was full of colour, costumes, music, and entertainment. The parade was awesome!
MX Pickleball Tournament
We reluctantly registered for another tournament, and we are so glad we did. We didn't bring home any medals, but we had loads of fun, improved our skills, and enjoyed the supper and party!
Friends
Ruth, Leona and Wayne, friends of ours from home spend their winter vacation in Ixtapa. We always get together for dinners and enjoy our visits!

Students
We were asked by one of our Mexican friends to volunteer and participate in a class where education students were learning how to teach Spanish to non-Spanish speakers. They were being graded on their lessons we were involved in. They all did great! I am sure their grades reflected all the effort and execution that went into this class.
Mexican Beach Corn Hole
We had a fun day on the beach playing in a Mexican Corn Hole tournament!
The Picante
We had a great day on the water with all our crazy friends! We booked a trip on the Picante, a beautiful catamaran, and it did not disappoint!
Birthday Celebrations
I was fortunate to be able to celebrate another birthday in a beautiful location with Hoss and close friends.

Friends From Home
Good friends of ours from home decided to vacation this year in Ixtapa.We were able to get together with Greg, Julie, Les and Joanne, and had a few drinks, and quite a few laughs! What a great visit!
