Surfers Point(which is near to Margaret River) sits on the beach of Prevelly, WA, on the wild shores of the Indian Ocean. It is a surfers' haven with monstrous swells and people crazy enough to brave them. These huge waves attract the best surfers in the world as part of the professional world surfing circuit. The boardwalk, which is just off the parking lot, is a popular area for spectators to come and watch the surfers and catch a beautiful sunset.
A view of the Margaret River....which the small city was named after, empties into the Indian Ocean.
