Alas, We Are Called Home!

With the Covid19 pandemic happening, we had to cancel the rest of our trip to Morocco, Spain, and Amsterdam, and head home. Getting a flight was no easy feat! After 3 cancellations, and a couple of reroutes, and two trips to the airport we were finally on our way. We saw super freaked out people dressed in hazmat type outfits, and others wearing medical gloves, ski googles, and face masks trying to ward off the virus! Too funny! Anyways, that's all she wrote folks! Another great trip, full of fun, laughter, friendship, and family! We are blessed! Signing off until our next trip! Hopefully, Europe September 2020.😎

Now to start our mandatory 14 day self isolation!

Last Days of Our Australian Summer

Sadly, our family time being altogether in Australia is coming to an end. We are enjoying the last few days together, and hopefully we will be reunited this summer.

Kaiden loved this cute little dog he met at the park.

We are sure going to miss this big guy! Caesar, we love you!

King's Park, Perth

King's Park is a large, beautiful, relaxing, green area overlooking Perth Water and central business district with breathtaking panoramic views. The park is a mixture of grassy expanses, natural bushland, and botanical gardens exhibiting plants found across Australia. It is a-must-see when in Perth!

There is always a duck or two looking for a handout...and if you aren't watching it just might take a nibble of your toe.

Edgecomb Brothers Winery and Cafe

We were all craving the chicken parm that Catlin raved about at Edgecomb Brothers Winery and Cafe in Swan Valley, so we planned for a meal at lunch. It was a beautiful day, and we sat outside taking in the sites of the vineyard, countryside, and other patrons of the restaurant, while thoroughly enjoying our meal!

We were so busy chatting it up, and enjoying our time here that I completely forgot to take pictures of our surroundings and food! Delicious Chicken Parmie!

Outback Splash

Outback Splash is a water park which lies 30 minutes into the outback. It also plays host to a mini-golf course, a couple of mazes, a tiny zoo of animals and birds, a few playgrounds, and vast expanses of lawn. Kelsey and Addison booked a gazebo, and bought tickets for everyone online except for Jess. Unfortunately, she had to work. We packed a lunch, loaded up both vehicles, and away we went for a day of fun, sun, and water! The day was a complete blast for both young and old!
