AQUA

The Aquarium of Western Australia(AQUA) is a privately owned aquarium in Hillary's Western Australia, a suburb just 10 minutes north of Mullaloo where Jess and Catlin live. AQUA was Australia's largest aquarium when it opened and still possesses Australia's largest single aquarium and walk-through underwater tunnel. We spent half an afternoon taking in the sites of the aquarium which was really quite impressive. I would highly recommend this attraction for both young and old. We had a great afternoon, followed by an ice cream treat!

Kaiden was all eyes while at the aquarium!

The water tunnel was awesome! Sharks, manta rays, sting rays, turtles, and all kinds of fish in varieties of colours in a background of coral.

                                        Large, magnificent manta ray!

Kaiden loved the touch tank. He was thrilled to touch a fish and a starfish.

                                        Family joy!

A lovely view of Hillary's residential area from the aquarium.

There are several rescue turtles that earn their keep by displaying their feeding skills to curious and interested onlookers. After their bodies are healed they will be released back to their natural habitat.
There is nothing like a well deserved ice-cream treat!

Kaiden and Grandpa playing tug of war!
