Waipara Valley Wine Trip

The Waipara Valley is a region that is a youngster in the wine business. It has proven itself for growing grapes, olives, hazelnuts and lavender, and built its reputation as a producer of riesling, chardonnay, and pinot noir. We spent an enjoyable, sunny, Sunday afternoon booting around to the many different wineries tasting mainly the whites that they are known for...even though both of us prefer a lovely dry red.
