Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City

This museum was highly recommended!  We had already seen a few others and after awhile we get museumed out!  But, we were sure glad we took good advice and decided to see this one!  It was a wonderful museum!

We saw this tomb 21 years ago in the Mayan ruins of Palenque, Mexico.  We were able to climb up the steep steps of the pyramid to the top, then crawl down the steps deep inside the bowels of the pyramid to a tomb!  It was truly amazing!  This is now forbidden, and I can certainly see why!  We were shocked we were able to do this 21 years ago!
