Mullaloo Beach Primary School Visit

 Wyatt starts kindergarten this year so we were off to visit his school and see his classroom and meet his teacher! The school has grades from PreK or Kindy as Aussies call it, to Grade 6. There will be two kindergarten classes. Kindergarten is called Pre-Primary. Grade 1 is called Year 1 and so forth.

 

                                           Wyatt's classroom. We could take a peak inside but weren't allowed in. I was a bit disappointed, but I get it. Teachers work hard to put classrooms together and ready for their students. They don't need extra work cleaning up after families come through, when there is so much more work to be done.

The schools in Australia are set up differently than Canada. It's all weather related. The Aussie children keep their backpacks outside on boot racks, lots of shade in the playground, and school uniforms which I totally agree with. His classroom is beautiful and spacious. I was quite impressed!
