Sunset Music Cruise With Ali Tod

 Sailfest has been happening in Zihua for the past week. It's a huge fund raiser for indigenous school children in this area. We attended the gala dance, and then the sunset music cruise that hosted well known guitarist Ali Tod from Scotland. She does slappy guitar, a technique she acquired from a local Mexican couple that have won many awards throughout the world for their talent. Ali will also be performing at Guitar Fest next week in Zihua. It's always a great time when you can cruise and then listen to great music! And a huge thank you to the couple who hosted this event and generously welcomed guests onto their beautiful boat which has now become their full time home.

                 Our evening ended with an impromptu supper will Ali and friends.
 

Bicycles For Two

 We rented a couple of bicycles, and road 20 kms round trip, from Ixtapa to Playa Linda. I think we'll plan to do this every year! Nice enjoyable couple of hours!

On the way back to Ixtapa, we stopped at a beach Bar at Playa Linda for a lemonade and ran into a fellow pickleball player. 

Along with a visit with Sherri and her husband we were entertained by these two muscians.

 

Relatives and Friends

 We were blessed to have visits from Hoss's sister, Kathy, her her hubby Alan, from Ottawa, and then friends of ours, Rick and Lynn, from Melville. We enjoyed our time together, and had many laughs!

                                            Supper at Olga's is always a treat!

         Iced coffee at The Cubano's! Thanks to Rick and Lynn for the great visit! We had a fun day!

Early Morning Walk

 A group of us gals...and Hoss woke up early and walked to Ixtapa before the sun and heat beat down on us. We were rewarded with a delicious breakfast in Ixtapa. This is always a great walk!

Zihuatanejo Tequila Blues and Rock Fest

Our group of friends spent an evening enjoying a meal and drinks while listening to some great music. Oh...and did I mention that dancing was involved!! Zihua never fails to entertain us!

Emanuel's Birthday Bash

Every year Emmanuel invites us to his birthday bash. It's always well attended, with loads of food and musical entertainment. It's always a fun event!

Karen's Pool Party

We had the pleasure and honor of being invited to a friend's pool party. Karen's hospitality was gracious and generous. We met new people, ate a variety of delicious food, laughed, and visited. What a gorgeous afternoon!
