Ferry to Las Gatos

We usually clamber over a rocky path to get to Las Gatas from Playa La Ropa, but today was an exception, and instead we ferried over in pangas, which are small Mexican open bowed fishing boats powered by outboard motors with a Bimini top for shade.

Zihuatanejo was graced with a new neighbour for a couple of nights. The first ship of the season and in two years was moored in Zihua Bay. The ship is the named "The World". It's a residential cruise ship operated like a condominium complex. The residents, from about 19 countries, can live on board as the ship travels the world. Some residents choose to live on the ship full-time while others visit periodically throughout the year. The ship has 165 residences that comprises of 106 apartments, 19 studio apartments, and 40 studios, and has 280 crew members.

This small ferry belong to The World cruise ship.
