Besides the cat that comes to visit us occasionally, we have a tiny gecko, about 2 inches in length, that helps to keep insects at bay.
We bought some shrimp from the fishmonger, Poncho, at the market. We have purchased from him in previous years and have always had great seafood.
And, this huge salad was bought from a small vegan restaurant called Salsitas just around the corner from our house. I also bought a grilled veggie sandwich with a hummus spread. It was delicious and all homemade.
The salad(which could have fed 4 people) and the sandwich was a grand total of 85 pesos, which is $5.40 CA.
