Zihuatanejo, Mexico
Our trip this year is a bit broken up. Hoss's dad will be turning 90 in February, and we wanted to be home for his big shin dig. We planned a trip to Mexico first, so we would be close to home making travel easier, and cost efficient. We will be spending six weeks in Zihua. This will be our third time to this quaint, bustling city. Our first experience in Zihua was in 1996 on our year long motorhome trip. I can safely say there has been a huge change to this area since then.
We are staying in an area called Madera, in a small apartment block called Villa Lupita. We are here for three nights, then move into a small hotel called Hotel Salinas. Villa Lupita is lovely, spacious, and close to the beach, but not so good if you want to meet people. We may be giving up elbow room, for friendliness, I guess we will see tomorrow when we move.
