Attending the Little Feet Festival

Little Feet Festival is a free children's festival that guarantees a day full of learning, laughter, and loads of activities that include a live stage show, exploring real life tractors, creating healthy treats at the Junior kitchen, playing in a mini growers market and warehouse, discovering the world of bees, digging for worms and learning about composting, milking a cow, making a farm yard friend, a wacky windmill, a trash tractor, a crazy cowboy hat, a sensory zone, face painting, roving entertainment, food trucks and more!

This wonderful event takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Edith Cowan University that is about a 10 minute drive from Catlin and Jess's house. Edith Cowan was the first woman Member of Australian Parliament who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia as a member for West Perth from 1921-1924.

Disco Dancing For Wee Ones

Every Friday morning there is free disco dancing for small children. Our grandsons were not too keen on it. They were much happier and started dancing when the lights turned on at the end.

Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm

Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm was a fun and interesting place to spend part of our day. It provides the opportunity for children to get close to a variety of friendly animals. The atmosphere is very welcoming, with a variety of activities for young children, from small train rides to bottle feeding hungry baby goats. The grandkids had a blast, and the adults quite enjoyed it!
