Downtown Perth

Downtown Perth is as beautiful as ever. Hoss and I took the train, had a walk-about, and had some lunch.

Mini Golf

Mini golf was in a beautiful botanical setting, with a lovely restaurant and ice-cream shop.

The kids had a blast!

Baby Chinos

Swim lessons have improved Wyatt's skills, and Booker is starting to enjoy them.

After swim lessons, Grandma spoils Wyatt with a baby chino(frothy warm milk), and a cup of watermelon. Wyatt even saves a few pieces for his brother.

Mindarie Marina

Hoss and I drove to Mindarie Marina, about a fifteen minute drive from Catlin and Jess's, to check it all out,  to have a walk about, snoop around a shop, and have a coffee and a tea. What a beautiful morning!

Strawberry Picking

We headed to the one of the many strawberry farms to pick a box full of strawberries. The kids had a blast! We picked and ate until our stomachs and box and pails were full!

                                                      Pooped out from strawberry picking!

Beach Walking

One of my favourite things to do in life is walking a beach. It's calming and a great massage on the toes.

Attending the Little Feet Festival

Little Feet Festival is a free children's festival that guarantees a day full of learning, laughter, and loads of activities that include a live stage show, exploring real life tractors, creating healthy treats at the Junior kitchen, playing in a mini growers market and warehouse, discovering the world of bees, digging for worms and learning about composting, milking a cow, making a farm yard friend, a wacky windmill, a trash tractor, a crazy cowboy hat, a sensory zone, face painting, roving entertainment, food trucks and more!

This wonderful event takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Edith Cowan University that is about a 10 minute drive from Catlin and Jess's house. Edith Cowan was the first woman Member of Australian Parliament who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia as a member for West Perth from 1921-1924.

A quick stop for a rest and snack!

                                                       Lunch break

Home time! I'm not sure who was more tired....the kids or the adults! The Little Feet Festival was a blast and total success with the kids!
